Sean Waters (guitars/bass/vocals) and Brian Collins (pianos/drums/vocals) have been making music together for over seventeen years. From 2001 to 2008, they co-created Wasabi, which won best jamband in Colorado (Westword, 2007). From 2008 and onward, the duo developed a jaw-dropping 1000+ song repertoire as the Seers, becoming one of the most sought-after groups on the front range for their custom private shows. As the Seers, Waters and Collins released five records and still play over one hundred and twenty shows per year -- from Montana wedding receptions to the Colorado Music Showcase at SXSW in Austin Texas.

Their new project, the eponymous Waters and Collins, mixes piano and guitar driven adult alternative rock with the classic sounds of an early 70’s, late Beatles-era production aesthetic. Teaming up with LA/Denver producer/drummer Tyler Lindgren, their debut record is a hopeful classic, a slice of feel-good retro-rock with soaring harmonies and compelling songwriting.

The new Waters and Collins builds on the vision and mission to locally craft collaborative songs and independent recordings that honor the past while embracing the future. It’s also a testament to friendship, of how a musical partnership of big personalities lasts nearly two decades: finding a supportive music scene, sharing the joy of writing, recording, and performing, and going where the road where it takes you. Thanks for following along!
